SchoolCost started because every existing tool showed a single Year 12 tuition figure, stripped of context. Real families need to know what all thirteen years will cost, how fast fees are growing, and what to set aside each week. That's what this site answers: using published fee schedules, not estimates.
Who builds it
Built in Adelaide by one dad, also a dentist, who got annoyed at how hard it was to find the real cost before planning for his own kids. The point is simple: parents should be able to see the fee schedule, the history, and the likely pathway before they commit. A handful of parents review the work and call out anything that looks wrong.
What we never do
No ads. Free school browsing. A one-off $5.99 unlock for planning tools. No data sold, rented, or shared. No affiliate pressure. Referral links are disclosed on the How we get paid page, and they're identical whichever product you pick. The methodology is fully documented.
How to help
If your school isn't tracked yet, or the 2026 schedule hasn't landed, send it in. Everything gets a human review before it goes live, and every figure is checked against public school sources.
